Make a difference in your community and in your life. Whether you're seeking a way to meet people, to improve your community or to build your own personal and professional repertoire, Jaycees has a lot to offer you. Local chapters meet monthly, so you can stay connected without taking too much time out of your busy life.
Jaycees is for young adults, age 18-40, seeking to enhance their quality of life through building personal and professional relationships. Not only will you instantly share a common bond with hundreds of folks in your area who have been a part of Jaycees, but you'll have access to millions of people world-wide. If you're looking to expand your horizons, you've landed on the right web page.
To find out whether there is a chapter near you, contact our State Service Center at 217.529.5379 or via email. You can also contact your local Chamber of Commerce. Local chapters normally meet either once or twice-monthly. We recommend attending at least one meeting to get familiar with the organization. Contact your chapter's local President or Membership Director to let them know you'll be attending. Pre-warning: you WILL be asked to join, and be an important part of the group. We hope you say "yes."
Once you have selected the chapter to join, becoming a Member of Jaycees is simple. First, fill out an official Membership Application (click here to download a PDF). Next, turn your application in to the local chapter's Membership Director or President, along with payment for your first year's dues. Dues are determined on a chapter-by-chapter basis. You will be contacted by a local chapter Member to discuss your interests, and how they can help make the most out of your Membership!
